The Weeknd Wins Big At 2021 IHeartRadio Music Awards

The Weeknd was the big winner at the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards, winning four.

He was selected as Male Artist of the Year and Titanium Artist of the Year, while his song “Blinding Lights” earned him the Song of the Year, TikTok Bop of the Year (Socially Voted Category), and Titanium Song of the Year titles.

Luke CombsWhat You See Ain’t Always What You Get was adjudged as Country Album of the Year. Combs also won the Country Artist of the Year award.

Dua Lipa won the Female Artist of the Year award. She beat out fellow superstars Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion and Taylor Swift.

Other winners include Dan + Shay (Best Duo/Group of the Year), Megan Thee Stallion featuring Beyoncé for “Savage” (Remix), Doja Cat (Best New Pop Artist), Twenty one pilots (Alternative Rock Artist of the Year) and The Pretty Reckless.

Foo Fighters‘ “Shame Shame” was named the Rock Song of the Year.

Some of this year’s winners also performed at the award ceremony. It also included a special tribute to this year’s iHeartRadio Icon Award recipient Elton John, from Demi Lovato, Brandi Carlile and H.E.R.
