Sean 'Diddy' Combs Accuser Claims She Was 16 During Alleged Assault

Sean 'Diddy' Combs Accuser Claims She Was 16 During Alleged Assault

In an updated complaint she filed on Tuesday (March 12), Liza Gardner, who had alleged that she was sexually assaulted by Sean "Diddy" Combs and Aaron Hall after an MCA Records party in 1990, has claimed that she was 16 years old when the assault took place.

In the latest filing signed by lawyer Tyrone Blackburn, Liza also claims that she has a letter from her therapist and an affidavit from a friend stating that she recounted the alleged assault during conversations in 2014 and 2019, respectively.

Rolling Stone quotes Blackburn as saying that the statements from the third parties will be disclosed "when the case begins discovery."

"As my records indicate on 2/18/2014, my client disclosed that she was raped by two males in New York when she was 16 years of age," the therapist purportedly writes in the letter excerpted in the amended complaint. "It is my professional opinion that the trauma of being raped by two men accounted for much of her ongoing symptoms of hypervigilance, anxiety, panic attacks, and episodes of depression, all, symptoms indicative of PTSD."

Liza had alleged in the lawsuit that Diddy and Hall offered drinks to her and a friend after the event that night. She said she was offered more drinks and then coerced into having sex with Combs. Later, Hall "barged into the room, pinned her down, and forced Liza Gardner to have sex with him," the complaint claims.

Drake Seeking Removal From Astroworld Lawsuits

Drake Seeking Removal From Astroworld Lawsuits

Drake filed a motion in Houston court last week, seeking dismissal of the lawsuits filed against him over the 2021 disaster at Travis Scott's Astroworld festival that resulted in the loss of lives and left several hundreds injured.

Drake argues in his plea that he had nothing to do with planning the event and that he can't be sued for just showing up for a brief guest appearance.

The stampede happened when fans rushed toward the stage on the fateful day (Nov. 5, 2021) when Scott was performing.

Although the lawsuits filed by over 2,500 people mainly target Scott, Live Nation and other organizers, Drake was also named as a defendant in some cases because he appeared on stage during Scott's performance.

Drake's attorneys argued last week that he should not be involved in the case at all, as he had no involvement in Astroworld beyond being asked to take the stage. They mentioned that the festival organizers also had "confirmed under oath that Mr. Graham was not involved in any planning."

"Mr. Graham did not receive any security briefings, was not informed of any crowd control issues, injuries or deaths in the crowd, or any stop show orders at any time either before or during his 14-minute performance," they said.

The attorneys claimed that Drake "arrived at the venue at approximately 7:30 p.m." and remained largely secluded backstage in a trailer until approximately 9:54 p.m.; at that time, the star "immediately took the stage as requested, performed for approximately 14 minutes, and then exited the stage at 10:08 p.m.."

They argued that the discovery process had resulted in "hundreds of hours" of depositions and "hundreds of thousands of pages of documents," but that none of it had established that Drake could be held liable for negligence.

Chris Brown has earned his 19th No. 1 on Billboard's Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart with "Sensational," featuring Davido and Lojay.

"Sensational" is a song from Brown's eleventh studio album 11:11. The song was released as the album's second single on October 20, 2023, under CBE.

Trisha Yearwood, Questlove Join Cast Of 'This Is Spinal Tap' Sequel

Trisha Yearwood, Questlove Join Cast Of 'This Is Spinal Tap' Sequel

Trisha Yearwood and Questlove are set to join the cast of This Is Spinal Tap 2, a sequel to Rob Reiner's original rock music mockumentary that premiered in 1984.

Reiner, who is directing the sequel, also reprises his role as Martin "Marty" Di Bergi, with Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer stepping back into their characters as the titular heavy metal band.

Garth Brooks, Paul McCartney and Elton John are also making cameos in the upcoming movie.

This Is Spinal Tap, which was regarded as the first-ever mockumentary, focused on the fictional rock band as they embarked on their 1982 U.S. tour in support of their controversial Smell the Glove album.

The Library of Congress noted Spinal Tap as a "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" film. The movie was selected for preservation by the National Film Registry.

Brooks told Billboard in December that the sequel would boast a "few other surprises" in addition to its A-list cameos.

"If you think you have laughed before, Jiminy Christmas," he said at the time. "First of all, I was in love with Spinal Tap, in love with the original movie. T he fact that it's coming back, it's gonna be neat to be a part of this. Because this is history, man."

Reiner, Michele Reiner and Matthew George are producing the sequel under Reiner's Castle Rock Entertainment banner. Christopher H. Warner and Derrick Rossi serve as executive producers on Spinal Tap 2.
