The Weeknd has teamed up with Swedish House Mafia to release a remix of “Sacrifice” from his most recent album Dawn FM.
The revamped version of “Sacrifice” dropped on January 12 along with a new music video, which transports the Weeknd from the dark dance floor in the original video to a high school gym, where he watches a colorful dance battle.
The original “Sacrifice” was released as the second official single in tandem with Dawn FM on January 7, 2022. Its music video was released on the same day and was directed by Cliqua. “Sacrifice” was produced by Swedish House Mafia and Max Martin.
Meanwhile, the “Blinding Lights” singer also dropped a remix version of “Take My Breath” in collaboration with Italian EDM trio Agents of Time, which consist of Andrea Di Ceglie, Fedele Ladisa, Luigi Tutolo.
Dawn FM dropped on January 7 and features Tyler, the Creator, Lil Wayne, Quincy Jones, Oneohtrix Point Never, and Jim Carrey.
