The Weeknd Announces Rescheduled L.A. Show, Adds Second Date

The Weeknd has announced a rescheduled date for his Los Angeles show, which was postponed after the “Blinding Lights” singer lost his voice.

On September 3, the Weeknd was forced to cut short his concert in Los Angeles after losing his voice just three songs into the show.

The rescheduled show will now take place on Thanksgiving weekend on Saturday, November 26, at SoFi Stadium. Current ticketholders of the September 3 show will have their tickets transferred automatically to the November 26 date.

The singer was in the middle of “Can’t Feel My Face” when he abruptly stopped the show and left the stage. He then returned to the stage to tell his fans, “I can’t give you the concert I want to give you. I’m going to make sure everyone’s good, gets your money back, and I’ll do a show real soon for you guys, but I wanted to come out and personally apologize and not tweet it or Instagram it. I wanted you guys to know that I can’t give you what I want to give you. I apologize. I’m so sorry.”

Meanwhile, due to overwhelming demand, the R&B superstar also announced that a second L.A. date has been added, which will take place on Sunday, November 27, thus concluding the 2022 leg of his global After Hours Til Dawn tour.

Tickets go on sale for the November 27 date starting Monday, October 3 at 10 am PST.
