SZA‘s sophomore album SOS has debuted atop the Billboard 200, earning the singer her first No. 1 album on list.
The album bowed at the No. 1 spot with 318,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending December 15, according to Luminate.
This is the fifth-largest debut of the year, behind Taylor Swift‘s Midnights, Harry Styles‘ Harry’s House, Drake and 21 Savage‘s Her Loss and BeyoncĂ©‘s Renaissance.
SOS also garners the biggest streaming week ever for an R&B album.
Of SOS‘ 318,000 equivalent album units earned, SEA units comprise 309,500, which equals to 404.58 million on-demand official streams of the set’s tracks, album sales comprise 7,500 and TEA units comprise 1,000.
SOS is SZA’s second studio album and a follow up to 2017’s Ctrl.
