Star-Studded Lineup Revealed For Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Concert

A star-studded lineup has been revealed for Queen Elizabeth II‘s Platinum Jubilee music concert.

A mix of rock and pop stars, including Queen with Adam Lambert, Diana Ross, Rod Stewart, Elton John, Duran Duran, Craig David, Alicia Keys, Elbow, Hans Zimmer, Mabel, Andrea Bocelli, Nile Rodgers and Eurovision singer Sam Ryder will take the stage at Buckingham Palace on June 4.

The concert, to be presented on 3 stages set up in front of an audience of 22,000, will be broadcast live on BBC One and Radio 2.

Brian May will be returning to sing for the British Queen two decades after he performed on the palace roof for her Golden Jubilee.

The Queen guitarist hinted that he may appear in an unexpected location this time.

“I was absolutely delighted to receive an invitation to perform on such a momentous and historic occasion,” veteran soul singer Ross said about what would be her first live performance in the U.K. in 15 years.

“The evening will pivot around global themes that have been born, or evolved, during the breadth of Her Majesty’s reign due to extraordinary British and Commonwealth contributions including Fashion, Sport, The Environment, 70 Years of Pop Music and Musicals,” the organizers said in a statement announcing the event.
