Latin superstar Shakira has announced a new album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, her first album in seven years.
Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran is a follow-up to May 2017’s El Dorado. It arrives on March 22 via Sony Music Latin.
“Making this body of work has been an alchemical process. While writing each song I was rebuilding myself,” Shakira shared in a statement. “While singing them, my tears transformed into diamonds, and my vulnerability into strength.”
Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran will feature 16 songs, including the previously released singles “BZRP Music Sessions Vol. 53” with Bizarrap, “TQG” with Karol G, “Te Felicito” with Rauw Alejandro, and “Copa VacĂa” with Manuel Turizo.
2017’s El Dorado had spent five weeks at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Latin Albums chart, and featured hit songs such as “Chantaje” with Maluma, “La Bicicleta” with Carlos Vives and the Prince Royce-assisted “Deja vu.”
