Superstar Rihanna will perform her Oscar-nominated song “Lift Me Up” from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever at the upcoming Oscars.
Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the 95th Oscars will air live on ABC and broadcast outlets worldwide on March 12.
“Lift Me Up” is nominated for Original Song this year, marking Rihanna’s first Oscar nomination.
Tems and Ryan Coogler wrote the lyrics for “Lift Me Up” while Tems, Rihanna, Coogler and Ludwig Goransson gave music to it.
A nine-time Grammy Award winner, Rihanna has eight multi-platinum albums and 14 singles that reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The Oscar award ceremony will be held at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood and will be televised live on ABC and in more than 200 territories worldwide.
The 95th Oscars executive producers and show runners Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner said that more talent joining the show will be announced in the coming weeks.
