Rihanna Surpasses Katy Perry To Become Most-Followed Woman On Twitter

Rihanna has become the most-followed woman on Twitter surpassing Katy Perry.

According to SocialBlade, at press time, Rihanna had 108,278,326 followers, while Perry is close behind with 108,261,949 followers.

Two other lady artists are featured in the top 10 – Taylor Swift at No. 7 with more than 92 million followers and Lady Gaga at No. 10 with just fewer than 85 million.

The most-followed man on Twitter is none other than its owner, Elon Musk, having more than 134 million followers.

Former President Barack Obama is ranked second with just under 133 million followers on the social media platform.

The third-most followed man on Twitter is a musician, Justin Bieber, who at press time had 113,156,831 people following him.

The most-followed musician on Instagram is Selena Gomez with 410 million followers on her account.

Ariana Grande is ranked seventh, followed jointly by both Beyoncé and Bieber at No. 11.
