Music superstar and fashion and beauty mogul Rihanna has joined Jay-Z and Kanye West on Forbes‘ Billionaires List.
The 34-year-old Rihanna has assets worth $1.7 Billion, according to Forbes.
Her stakes in the Fenty Beauty cosmetics line and the Savage X Fenty lingerie business helped make her Barbados’ first billionaire.
The musician-turned-cosmetics mogul became the Caribbean island nation’s 11th “National Hero” at a ceremony in the capital of Bridgetown in November, on the same day Barbados became a republic.
Ranked No. 1,729 on the 36th annual list, RiRi is the world’s richest female musician.
With an estimated net worth of $2 billion, hip-hop star Kanye West comes in at No. 1,513 in the rankings.
Jay-Z, who was hip-hop’s first billionaire, is at No. 2,076 with a $1.4 billion portfolio.
A total of 236 people have become billionaires over the past year, according to Forbes‘ annual World’s Billionaires list.
