Public DMX Memorial Service Set For Barclays Center On April 24

DMX‘s public memorial service will be held on April 24 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, two weeks after the rapper died from complications of a drug overdose.

According to reports, the service will be closed to public and will only be attended by close friends and family. However, fans can catch the memorial service via live-stream.

Barclays Center has a capacity of around 19,000, but due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions the indoor arena can only accommodate 10% of its full capacity.

A private funeral service will be held for the rapper the next day at a New York church, Billboard reports.

DMX died on April 9 after suffering a heart attack triggered by a drug overdose. He was 50 years old.
