Prince and The New Power Generation‘s 1991 album, Diamonds and Pearls, is set to receive the reissue treatment.
As a preview, the late artist’s estate shared the previously unreleased track “Alice Through the Looking Glass” along with the announcement.
The reissue comes with a 120-page book of photos and essays with a Chuck D foreword, a Dolby Atmos mix of the album on Blu-ray, and two hours of concert footage (both audio and video) shot at Prince’s Minneapolis club, Glam Slam, in 1992. It’s due out as a 7xCD or 12xLP set on October 27.
The Super Deluxe Edition contains 75 audio tracks across 7 CDs, of which 47 are previously unreleased, including 33 studio tracks from Prince’s legendary Vault.
Diamonds And Pearls was remastered by Prince’s original mastering engineer Bernie Grundman.
