Nicki Minaj‘s new single, “Super Freaky Girl” has debuted at the top of Billboard Hot 100. This marks the rapper’s first Hot 100 No. 1 as an unaccompanied artist.
Two other collaborations featuring Minaj also previously reached No. 1 on the chart – “Trollz,” with 6ix9ine, and Doja Cat‘s “Say So,” both released in 2020.
“Super Freaky Girl,” released on August 12, tallied 21.1 million streams, 4.6 million radio airplay audience impressions and 89,000 downloads sold in its first week, according to Luminate.
The single is the first solo female rap track to top the Hot 100 since 1998.
“Super Freaky Girl” has also debuted atop the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts.
Harry Styles‘ “As It Was” and Lizzo‘s “About Damn Time” retained their second and third ranks on the chart, respectively.
The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming, radio airplay and sales data. All charts dated August 27 have been updated on Billboard.com.
