Nicki Minaj has teamed up with Bia for a remix of “Whole Lotta Money,” a track from the latter’s 2020 EP, For Certain.

Bia appeared on Instagram Live with Minaj just before the song was released. Minaj revealed that she was in communication with Bia on Instagram and eventually invited her to her home studio and they wrote the remix together.

“There’s something I urgently need to share w/you guys,” Minaj had teased her fans on social media days before the track’s release. “No, I won’t be late. In fact, I’ll be early. This is VERY VERY VERY important.”

During the IG Live, Minaj also revealed that she was supposed to appear on Russ‘ single “Best On Earth,” which also featured Bia, but she turned it down because she felt Bia “bodied it” and the song didn’t need her.
