NBC has announced the first round of performers for the 2022 Billboard Music Awards.
The list includes Megan Thee Stallion, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Latto, Burna Boy and Rauw Alejandro.
Megan Thee Stallion and Latto will be making their debut at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 15. Both are nominees for top female rap artist award.
The Chili Peppers are returning to perform at the Billboard Music Awards after a gap of 23 years.
Nigerian rap superstar Burna Boy and Puerto Rican singer Alejandro have been nominated in four categories this year, including top Latin artist.
This year’s Icon Award honoree Mary J. Blige will also stage a special, career-spanning performance
The host of the 2022 Billboard Music Awards as well as the winner of this year’s Change Maker Award will be revealed in the coming weeks, Billboard said.
