Mariah Carey‘s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” has topped of Billboard‘s returning Holiday 100 songs chart dated December 3.
The Christmas hit rules the Holiday 100 for the 52nd week in the chart’s history. The song has dominated all but five weeks since the chart was launched in 2011.
Justin Bieber‘s “Mistletoe,” Pentatonix‘s “Little Drummer Boy” and “Mary, Did You Know?” and Ariana Grande‘s “Santa Tell Me” are the other Holiday 100 chart toppers.
“All I Want for Christmas Is You” also topped all three Holiday 100 component charts – Holiday Streaming Songs, Holiday Airplay, and Holiday Digital Song Sales – in the latest surveys, according to Luminate.
“All I Want for Christmas Is You” is also ranked No. 1 on Billboard‘s Greatest of All Time Holiday 100 Songs chart.
A track from Carey’s 1994 album Merry Christmas, “All I Want for Christmas Is You” is an uptempo love song that includes bell chimes, backing vocals and synthesizers.
The song has become a Christmas standard and continues to surge in popularity each holiday season.
