Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ Remains Atop Billboard Hot 100

Mariah Carey‘s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” has earned another week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

This is the eleventh total week that the Christmas carol has topped the Hot 100 chart.

The song earned 48.7 million streams and 39.5 million radio airplay audience impressions and sold 11,000 downloads in the United States in the December 16-22 tracking week, according to Luminate.

With this, the hit carol song has reached No.1 on the Hot 100 chart in every holiday season since December 2019. It leads the chart for a third week in the 2022 Christmas holiday season. The song also reigns the Digital Song Sales chart for the fourth week.

A track from Carey’s 1994 album Merry Christmas, “All I Want for Christmas Is You” is an up-tempo love song that includes bell chimes, backing vocals and synthesizers. The song has become a Christmas standard and continues to surge in popularity each holiday season.

Brenda Lee‘s “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” remains second on the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated December 31.

It is followed by the late Bobby Helms‘ “Jingle Bell Rock” in third position.

The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data.
