Lizzo To Pull Double Duty On ‘Saturday Night Live’

“Saturday Night Live” has announced that Lizzo will be pulling double duty on the episode on April 16, appearing as the show’s host as well as the musical guest.

While the singer will be hosting “SNL” for the first time, it’ll be her second time as a musical guest.

Lizzo previously appeared on “SNL” in December 2019, when she performed two of her smash hits, “Truth Hurts” and “Good as Hell,” following the release of her breakthrough album, Cuz I Love You, which peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 albums chart dated September 7, 2019.

The “Saturday Night Live” shows on April 2 and April 9 will feature Jerrod Carmichael and Jake Gyllenhall, respectively, as the hosts. Gunna will be the musical guest on April 2, while Camila Cabello will appear as the musical guest the following week.

“Saturday Night Live,” which airs every Saturday live on NBC at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT, is produced in association with Broadway Video with creator Lorne Michaels as exec producer.
