Lizzo Celebrates First Emmy Nominations For ‘Watch Out For The Big Grrrls’

Lizzo‘s Amazon Prime Video series, “Watch Out For The Big Grrrls,” received six nominations for the 2022 Emmys.

Lizzo, who is the executive producer and host of the Prime Video series, celebrated the big news on social media.

“I am so excited to share with you guys that Watch Out for the Big Grrrls is Emmy-nominated. And not just one nomination, bitch! Six nominations,” she wrote. “You know what the Emmys are? Nicole Kidman is gonna be there, bitch. Probably.”

The musician, brimming with excitement, continued, “What am I gonna do when I meet Nicole? I don’t know. That’s what the Emmys means to me. I just wanted to process it because I’m so bad at processing my emotions in real time. I’ve probably been in shock for the last couple hours.”

“Watch Out for the Big Grrrls” was released on Amazon in March.

The series has been nominated in the outstanding competition program, outstanding directing for a reality program, outstanding casting for a reality program, outstanding cinematography for a reality program, outstanding editing for a competition program and outstanding sound mixing for a variety series categories.

The good news comes ahead of the release of Lizzo’s latest album, Special, which is set for Friday.
