Rapper Lil Nas X‘s Montero currently leads the midweek U.K. Official Chart and is on course to top the U.K. Albums Chart.
Montero, the rapper’s first full-length album, was the most downloaded and streamed album of the past weekend. The set, a follow-up to 2019 EP 7, features hit tracks like “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” and “Industry Baby.”
According to OCC, at the halfway stage, just 400 combined sales separate Montero from the No. 2-placed album, Bob Dylan‘s Springtime in New York – Bootleg 16, which is set to become the icon’s 41st U.K. Top 10 album.
Meanwhile, Drake‘s latest album Certified Lover Boy is at No. 3, while prog-rock band Genesis are at No. 4 with The Last Domino, which could earn the British band their first top 10 album in seven years.
The Official U.K. Singles and Albums Charts are published late Friday, local time.
