Lil Durk Reaches Top Spot On Billboard Artist 100 For First Time

Lil Durk became the top musical act in the U.S. for the first time after topping Billboard‘s Artist 100 chart, driven by the strong response to his latest album 7220.

Durk’s latest album 7220 debuted in the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart dated March 26, earning the rapper his second No. 1 on the tally.

7220, which was released on March 11 via Alamo Records, bowed with 120,500 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ended March 17, according to Luminate, formerly MRC Data.

Lil Durk previously topped the Billboard 200 with his collaborative album with Lil Baby, The Voice of the Heroes, which came in at No. 1 for one week in 2021.

Lil Durk also sends 17 songs onto the latest Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Lil Durk is the second rapper to lead the Artist 100 in 2022, after Kodak Black on the March 12-dated tally.
