Harry Styles, Lizzo and Beyoncé were among the big winners at the 2023 Grammy Awards.
Beyoncé became the most awarded artist in Grammys history after winning in four categories Sunday night, but she went home empty-handed in the major categories once again.
The 41-year-old pop star won the award for Best Dance/Electronic Album for her celebrated euphoric album Renaissance.
Queen Bey also won Best Dance/Electronic Recording award for “Break My Soul,” Best Traditional R&B Performance award for “Plastic Off The Sofa” and Best R&B Song for the joyful single “Cuff It.”
Lizzo, who won Record of the Year for About Damn Time, said in her acceptance speech, “You clearly are the artist of our lives,” referring to Beyoncé.
Styles won the biggest prize of the night – Album of the Year – for his third LP, Harry’s House, beating favorites Beyoncé and Adele.
Harry’s House was also selected as the Best Pop Vocal Album.
The British star delivered a heartfelt speech, saying, “I’ve been so so inspired by every artist in this category with me at a lot of different times in my life.”
“I think on nights like tonight it’s obviously so important for us to remember that there is no such thing as ‘best’ in music. This doesn’t happen to people like me very often and this is so, so nice,” he added.
