Fugees Announce Reunion Tour In Celebration Of 25th Anniversary Of ‘The Score’

Iconic hip-hop group Fugees have announced a world tour in celebration of the 25th anniversary of their sophomore album The Score.

It will be the first trek in 15 years for the famed hip-hop trio consisting of Ms. Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and Pras Michel.

“As I celebrate 25 years with the Fugees, my first memory was that we vowed, from the gate, we would not just do music we would be a movement,” Jean said in a statement. “We would be a voice for the un-heard, and in these challenging times, I am grateful once again, that God has brought us together.”

The 12-city reunion tour kicked off on Wednesday, September 22 with an intimate show in New York City. The rest of the tour will commence on November 2 at United Center in Chicago with stops across in Los Angeles, Miami, Newark, Paris, London and more.

The tour will conclude in Africa, with the final shows taking place in Nigeria and Ghana.

The Score was Fugees’ second and final studio album. It reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart and included hit songs like “Killing Me Softly,” “Fu-Gee-La” and “Ready or Not.”
