Eminem Tells Vivek Ramaswamy To Stop Rapping To His Music On Campaign Trail

Eminem has told Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy to stop rapping to his music on his campaign trail.

The rapper made the plea after the Indian-origin businessman-politician delivered an impromptu performance of the popular Eminem song “Lose Yourself” at the Iowa State Fair earlier this month.

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds accompanied him at the event.

In a letter representing Eminem, BMI informed Ramaswamy’s campaign that the rapper’s music should no longer be used for political campaign.

The performing rights organization said it received a communication from Eminem objecting to Ramaswamy’s use of his musical compositions.

“BMI will consider any performance of the Eminem works by the Vivek 2024 campaign from this date forward to be a material breach” of its license, the letter dated August 23 says.

Ramaswamy’s campaign has agreed to comply with the request, reports say.
