Drake’s ‘Certified Lover Boy’ Remains Atop Billboard 200 For Third Week

Drake‘s sixth studio album Certified Lover Boy, which dropped on September 3, has continued its reign over Billboard‘s all-genre 200 chart for the third consecutive week.

The album earned 171,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending September 23, down 28%, according to MRC Data. In its opening week, the set earned 613,000 equivalent album units, marking the biggest week for an album since Taylor Swift‘s Folklore launched at No. 1 with 846,000 units on the August 8, 2020-dated chart.

Of Certified Lover Boy‘s 236,000 equivalent album units earned, SEA units dropped 28% to 165,000 units, representing 222.16 million on-demand streams, album sales comprise 4,000, down 40%, and TEA units comprise 2,000 units down 14%.

The album, which was originally set to release in January 2021, features JAY-Z, Future, Travis Scott, Lil Wayne, Young Thug, 21 Savage, Ty Dolla $ign, Kid Cudi, Rick Ross, Lil Baby, and Project Pat.
