Drake Returns To No. 1 On Billboard Artist 100

Drake has returned as the top musical act in the U.S., topping the Billboard Artist 100 chart for the 37th total week.

The singer-songwriter jumped from 13th rank in the previous week to No. 1 on the chart dated July 2 due to the success of his new album, Honestly, Nevermind.

The album, released on June 17, made its debut on top of the Billboard 200 chart dated July 2, earning Drake his 11th No. 1 on the albums chart.

Drake’s “Jimmy Cooks,” featuring 21 Savage, also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, extending his record for simultaneously ruling the Hot 100, Billboard 200 and Artist 100 charts to 16 weeks.

Only Taylor Swift (50 weeks) has reigned more weeks than Drake on the Billboard Artist 100 chart.

The Artist 100 measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay and streaming to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.
