The widely-anticipated Young Money Reunion concert featuring Drake reuniting with Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne was postponed after the Canadian rapper tested positive for Covid-19.
The concert was scheduled to take place on August 1 at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage as the grand finale to Drake’s three-day October World Weekend.
“I am truly devastated to say that I tested positive for Covid and the Young Money Reunion show scheduled for tonight is being rescheduled to the SOONEST date possible,” he wrote on Instagram. “I will keep the city posted and share the new date whenever we have it locked. Until then I hope everyone stays safe and healthy.”
Drake has since announced that the Young Money Reunion concert will now take place on Saturday, August 6.

October World Weekend is a three-day Toronto-based festival that commemorates the 10th anniversary of Drake’s OVO Fest.
The weekend kicked off on Thursday, July 28, with an “All Canadian North Stars” that featured appearances from Choclair, Keshia Chanté, Jully Black, and more special guests, including Nelly Furtado.
