Doja Cat’s ‘Paint The Town Red’ Reaches No. 1 On Billboard Hot 100

Doja Cat‘s “Paint The Town Red” has reached No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, earning the singer her second chart-topper.

“Paint the Town Red” rose from No. 3 to No. 1 in its fifth week on the Hot 100 songs chart, marking the rapper’s second career leader following “Say So,” featuring Nicki Minaj, in 2020.

Meanwhile, according to Billboard, “Paint the Town Red” marks the first rap Hot 100 No. 1 in over a year, ending the longest break for the genre atop the chart since 2001.

“Paint the Town Red” earned 32.1 million radio airplay audience impressions, up 14%, and 27.7 million streams, up 10%, and sold 8,000 downloads, up 32%, in the September 1-7 tracking week, according to Luminate.
