Doja Cat released a new song, “Need to Know,” from her upcoming album Planet Her, on Friday (June 11).
A few hours after releasing the song, Doja shared a video for the track. The visual shows Doja zooming into a nightclub, driving her convertible pod car. She and her friends are then seen taking shots of a smoky vapor-like alcohol. The rapper is then seen dancing with her man.
“Wanna know what it’s like / Baby, show me what it’s like / I don’t really got no type / I just wanna f**k all night,” she sings. “Yeah-yeah, oh-woah-woah / Baby, I need to kno-ow.”
Doja had teased “Need to Know” for a few days on social media, tweeting that it “isn’t even the next single is just some shit before the next more important single comes out for you to enjoy.”
“Need to Know” is the second single from Planet Her, which is due June 25. The album’s lead single “Kiss Me More,” featuring SZA, hit No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The album also features collabs with Ariana Grande, the Weeknd, Young Thug, and JID.
