Chlöe Bailey recently dropped her collaborative single with Chris Brown, “How Does It Feel,” despite garnering hate from several corners for her collaboration with the “Under The Influence” singer.
After days of backlash over the song featuring Brown, “How Does It Feel” dropped along with a video that saw Chlöe and Chris failing in love.
“Yeah, see that’s the thing about trust / It’s never been about us,” sings Chlöe. “Cause we were doin’ too much / We threw the racks out at Follies / Gave you the key where my heart beat / You didn’t say it but you said it / It shouldn’t have hurt me but I let it.”
“How Does It Feel” is the second track from Bailey’s upcoming record, a follow-up to the singer’s previously released lead track “Pray It Away” on January 27.
Chlöe’s debut project In Pieces, is set to drop this month via Parkwood Entertainment/Columbia Records. However, no exact release date has been announced yet.
Last week, in a lengthy social media post, Brown responded to the backlash he and Bailey received after the pair announced they will be collaborating on “How Does It Feel.” Brown said he is tired of people still hating him for assaulting Rihanna nearly 15 years ago.
“If y’all still hate me for a mistake I made as a 17-year-old please kiss my whole entire a**,” Brown wrote on his Instagram Story.
Brown physically his abused then-girlfriend Rihanna in February 2009, although he was 19 at that time, not 17 as he claims in his post.
