Cardi B has made it clear that there is no rift between her and Billie Eilish.

She set the record straight after a rumor was started based on a video clip from the Met Gala showing the “Bad Guy” singer seemingly calling the rapper “weird”.

Both artists attended the annual event at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, May 2.

In the clip, Cardi can been seen talking to her fans, the video then cuts to Eilish looking in Cardi’s direction and telling a friend, “so weird.”

This created an uproar on social media, with many concluding, without knowing any context, that Eilish was calling the rapper “weird”

However, the pair have now both cleared up the misunderstanding, with Cardi sharing an exchange between her and Eilish in their Instagram direct messages.

“Oh my God, I was so worried you were gonna see that,” Eilish says in the voice note, in reference to the clip.

“I was f***ing calling the people around you weird because everybody around you was shoving their phones into your a**!” she added. “And I was like, just look at her, with your eyes!”

The “WAP” rapper replied, “The internet is trying to divide us. They don’t understand you’re my baby.”

“I hate the internet cause one, how do y’all turn one of the most lit parties into drama?” Cardi captioned the post. “Two, Ocean Eyes is the song I cater to my daughter. Three, Billie is my f***in baby. Yesterday, from the Met to the party, everything was drama free. Why do y’all wanna turn everything into mess?”
