Bonnaroo 2021 Cancelled Due To Flooding From Hurricane Ida

This year’s Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival has been canceled due to bad ground conditions caused by Hurricane Ida.

“We are absolutely heartbroken to announce that we must cancel Bonnaroo,” the organizers said in an announcement Tuesday. “While this weekend’s weather looks outstanding, currently Centeroo is waterlogged in many areas, the ground is incredibly saturated on our tollbooth paths, and the campgrounds are flooded to the point that we are unable to drive in or park vehicles safely.”

The organizers said they have “run out of options to try to make the event happen safely and in a way that lives up to the Bonnaroo experience” due to heavy rain over the past 24 hours.

They promised to refund all tickets purchased through Front Gate Tickets in 30 days to the original method of payment.

The four-day Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival was scheduled to kick off on September 2 at Great Stage Park in Manchester, Tennessee.

The festival was set to include headliners Megan Thee Stallion, Foo Fighters, Tame Impala, Lizzo, and many more.
