Beyoncé’s ‘Break My Soul’ Jumps To Top Spot On Billboard Hot 100

Beyoncé‘s “Break My Soul” has jumped to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.

Queen Bey earned her 8th solo No. 1 on the list. The track, which debuted at No. 15 six weeks earlier, is from her latest album Renaissance, which also earned her seventh No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

“Break My Soul” earned 61.7 million radio airplay audience impressions, up 8%, and 18.9 million streams, up 114%. It sold 13,000 downloads in the July 29-August 4 tracking week, which was up 113%, according to Luminate.

Besides the original version, on August 3, Beyoncé released an EP of four remixed versions of the track, featuring will.i.am, Terry Hunter, Honey Dijon, and Nita Aviance.

Beyoncé also released “The Queens Remix”, a collaboration with Madonna, interpolating her 1990 song “Vogue.”
